What is lm9 LLM?

lm9 LLM is a subscription chat service at llm.lm9.org that gives you access to private large language models for everyday chat, coding, and advanced reasoning. You work in a full chat workspace, pick models for your task, and see transparent token usage in your account. There are no ads in the product, and we do not use your conversations to train models.

How do I get started?

Click Get started or Start free on the homepage to open signup. New accounts begin with a 15-day free trial: up to 5 million tokens, no payment card required. After signup, sign in at login and open Chat from your profile when you are ready.

What does the free trial include?

The trial lasts 15 days and includes up to 5M tokens for the period. You get access to chat and coding models up to about 50B parameters (same model-size cap as Pro - e.g. Gemma, Qwen 2.5, DeepSeek R1 32B, and Qwen 3.x). Large reasoning models (70B class) require Power. When the trial ends without a subscription, chat access pauses until you subscribe; your account and profile remain available.

What paid plans are available and how much do they cost?
Plan Monthly Annual (save 10%) Monthly tokens
Starter $7.99 $86.29/yr 50,000,000
Pro $19.99 $215.89/yr 300,000,000
Power $39.99 $431.89/yr 1,000,000,000

See live details on the pricing page. Annual billing is roughly 10% less than paying monthly for 12 months.

What is the difference between Starter, Pro, and Power?
  • Starter - Everyday chat and fast models (up to ~30B parameters), standard uploads, web search, and email support.
  • Pro - Everything in Starter plus coding models (up to ~50B), higher context and upload limits, priority queue, image generation, the Cursor IDE API for integrating lm9 models in your editor, and the ability to submit feature requests on our public board.
  • Power - Everything in Pro plus advanced reasoning models (including 70B-class models), the highest token and upload limits, highest queue priority, and access to all available models on the platform.

A model comparison table is on the pricing page.

Do you train AI models on my chats?

No. We never use your prompts or replies to train our models or anyone else’s. Your words are not sold or repurposed for model training. Account data needed to run the service (email, plan, usage metering) is handled separately - see our Privacy Policy.

What happens to my conversations? Can I delete them?

Conversation content is processed to generate replies; we do not keep chats as a permanent archive on lm9 systems. When you delete a conversation in chat, it is gone for good - not recoverable and not held for later resale or scraping. This is core to our privacy promise on the homepage.

What are tokens and how is usage counted?

A token is a small unit of text (roughly a word fragment). Both your messages and the model’s replies count toward your allowance. Different models and longer conversations use more tokens. You can review usage by hour, day, and month in your account profile. Learn more on Understanding token usage.

What happens if I use all my monthly tokens?

If you reach your plan’s monthly token limit, chat may be throttled or paused until your next billing cycle or until you upgrade to a higher plan. Your account stays active; you can still manage billing and view usage. Contact support@lm9.org if you need help choosing a plan.

How do I sign in? I forgot my password.

Sign in at llm.lm9.org/login with the email and password you used at signup - everything stays on the lm9 site (no separate identity portal). Reset your password at forgot-password. If you still cannot access your account, email support@lm9.org from your registered address.

How do I pay, and is my card stored on your servers?

Paid plans accept Stripe and PayPal. We do not store full card numbers on lm9 servers - payment details are handled by the processor you choose. Manage or cancel your subscription from profile → subscription. If something goes wrong, email support@lm9.org.

Can I cancel? What is your refund policy?

You may cancel renewal anytime from profile → subscription. Cancellation stops future charges. Access usually continues through the end of the current paid period. Free trials do not require a card and are not charged. Refund highlights (full terms in Terms of Service):

  • Trial - Free; no refund applies.
  • First monthly charge - Contact us within 7 days for a full refund of that first payment (one-time guarantee for new paid subscriptions).
  • Annual plans - Pro-rata refund possible if you cancel within 14 days and usage is under 10% of the monthly token allowance; otherwise annual fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law.
Which models can I use on my plan?

Model access depends on plan size limits (parameter caps):

Plan Typical access
Trial Chat and coding models (~50B and below)
Starter Chat models up to ~30B
Pro Adds coding models up to ~50B (e.g. DeepSeek R1 32B, Qwen 3.x)
Power Full catalog including 70B reasoning models

You can pick a model in chat. Exact model lists change as we add or retire models - the chat model picker always shows what your plan allows.

Can I generate images?

Image generation is available on Pro and Power plans (monthly limits apply: 50 images on Pro, 500 on Power). Use image-capable models or workflows from chat as described in the product. Trial and Starter plans do not include image generation.

Do you offer an API for Cursor or other tools?

Yes - the Cursor IDE API (personal API keys in your profile) is included on the Pro and Power plans. It lets you use lm9 models from compatible development tools. Trial and Starter plans use the web chat workspace. See your profile’s API token section after subscribing.

How can I suggest features or see what you are building?

The feature request board is at llm.lm9.org/github. Sign in to browse issues. Pro and Power subscribers can open new feature requests; other plans can read the board and upgrade to submit.

How do I get help or talk to other users?
  • Email: support@lm9.org - login, chat, billing, API (typically 1–2 business days, U.S. Eastern)
  • Discord: community server - quick questions, outages, tips from other users
  • Sales: sales@lm9.org - teams, volume pricing, partnerships

See Contact Us Support for what to include in a support email.

Are there ads or upsells inside chat?

No ads. The interface is clean; what you pay for the plan is what you get. We do not inject advertising or sell your prompts. Plan upgrades are offered on the website and in your account when you need higher limits or models - not as interruptive ads inside conversations.

Can I change plans later?

Yes. Upgrade or change plans from profile → subscription or the pricing page. Upgrades take effect according to the billing flow you complete (Stripe/PayPal). For billing questions or plan changes mid-cycle, contact support@lm9.org.
